Nesting!

There is a little hunt on at The Nest - Home and Garden - it is really easy and has some sweet gifts.  Just look in the shops for the poster advertising the hunt and then seach (well so easy "glance" is a better word) around for a basket of eggs.

Aura VIPs group sent out this lovely boho skirt to group members today.  The skin I am wearing is also a group gift from Aura - Helena Honey Love Notes (two skins are available as gifts) so while the group is not free to join it is certainly worth the joining fee.  Grab this  Taxi to visit Aura.

Too Sleepy To Think of a Title!

I seem to be just rubbish at money management in my SL.  I decided to allow myself L$5k per month, it seemed like a lot at the time but here I am not even half way through the month having nearly spent all of it!!!!! 

I did buy two skins this month (not ones in special events) so that accounts for a lot of the spend - almost half when I think of it.  Looking in my inventory I can see that I have managed to get a lot for my money however, lots of special deals and free stuff and a few really nice full price items that I couldnt resist so I am happy (will just need to be really frugal for the next couple of weeks!) It's like RL money never lasts till next pay day lol!

Tank is from Tres Bla at collabora88 this is sunrise, I also bought sky.  I really love these tanks as because they are only partial mesh (top bit is texture) they layer easily.  I would have liked them all but had to restrain myself lol

Tree Seat is by Lisp at collabor88 - just had to buy this :)

Hair is by Vive 9 also at collabor88

Necklace is from Rebel X it was a gacha item that was given to me as a gift so I don't know if it is still there and I dont have a LM just now sorry

Sneakers and Bag are group gifts from Cafe Amie  group is free to join

Eyes are from Ikon

Biker Jacket is free from Prim & Pixel it says Demo but it is a full wearable demo in all sizes

Eye makeup is by Mock and can be won from the gacha at Fashion for Life for L$20 a go.  I played a few times and loved all the ones I got.  This one is Amelia Pond (they are all Time Lord related yay!)

Lip gloss is by LPD and is part of a free lipstick gift with 4 shades

Eyebrows are from my Milena skin set by Mynerva

Birdies Everywhere!

I really loved my blonde D!va hair with the little spring birdies on it and then Lambsie found it in dark brown too here so we both hung around like bad smells till we got it!

I don't wear dark hair often but as I got this new Group Giftie skin from Al Vulo today it was the perfect time to be a brunette.

My top (as if anyone doesnt know by now lol) is a free gift from Cold Logic

Today, I moved into my new house - a cute little skyhome I got from *ionic* during the Voisins Hunt (not sure if this hunt is still on) and I invited my friend, Lambsie, to come over. 

She brought with her the latest group gift from Glitterati , this adorable friends pose called "Youth" 
She also gave me a set of the cutest framed pictures (you can see some of them behind me).  These are no longer avilable to get in world (or at least I could not find the creator or store) but they are freebie full perms pictures so if anyone wants them you can drop me an IM or notecard and I will give them to you.

I furnished my new house very cheaply using many items from Lisp on the market place where there are 227 items currently for sale from 0 - 10 lindens from Lisp.  The chair, table, book and rug behind us are a set for sale for L$10 and the lamp I think was free :)

My shoes are free today only and I love the nice bright yellow spring shade - grab at Chandell

My dress is from Cold Logic, necklace from Yummy, Skin from Mynerva and hair from LOQ at TDRB (or TDR - sorry cant remember!!!)

Ready, Set, Go!!!

A new month: loads of new events and hunts and stuff.

As it is only the 1st of the month I have only just started looking at what is going on but I imagine I am going to be kept busy if I want to keep up with the blogging.

Anyways I have had a little look at the TFUH (the fresh unknown hunt) and as yet I have only picked up the item from Cold Logic which is some nice mesh short tops in 3 colors - I havent put a picture up, sorry, but for L$1 trust me it is worth grabbing.

 Cold Logic, in the short time it has been in existance, must be one of the best known SL brands already and with good reason. The fact that they signed up for TFUH seems to indicate humility on the creative minds behind Cold Logic and that they perhaps did not expect to become so well known so fast - but quality and talent always shine :)

And speaking of Cold Logic, today was the start of  March Mesh Madness on Fate Island.  I went along today and it was not crowded or laggy.  I bought a few things including this nice hair from Wasabi Pills and this dress (which you cant see much of but it is cute!) from Cold Logic.
